We collect personal data provided by the data subject in the context of the performance of employment contracts and the employment relationship, the submission of project applications, the management of tender documents and projects, recruitment processes and the receipt of unsolicited applications, enquiries submitted through the company’s website, the company’s Facebook page, contacts generated through participation in events, and commercial relationships with suppliers, clients and other interested parties.
In general, we collect identification data (name, tax identification number, citizen card number and other data necessary for the relevant purpose), contact data (email address and telephone number) and professional data (company, role, CV details, etc.).
Where we consider it necessary and justified, we also collect and process the consent of the data subjects.
We collect personal data that is publicly available in specialist magazines and publications, and data obtained at public events, relating to clients, suppliers and other relevant interested parties, in the context of performing contracts, participating in events and maintaining commercial and organisational relationships.
Personal data is processed through both automated and manual processes, with technological and organisational measures and controls proportionate to its protection and preservation. These measures include authentication and access management for systems and facilities, user profile management, controlled system capacity and backup management, controlled access to restricted information on any medium, the use of anti- virus, anti-spam and firewall tools, confidentiality and professional secrecy commitments with our employees, and the use of more robust techniques such as data encryption or device encryption when necessary.
Personal data is collected, processed, used, stored and handled to comply with the contracts and legal obligations arising from our business activity, in the context of our legitimate interest in delivering better services to our clients, as well as for sending information, in any format, about our products and services, subject to the consent management framework with the data subjects where applicable.
Personal data is kept for the duration of the contractual relationship with ELMAFE, for the legally required retention period, or for as long as there is a mutual interest in keeping it — in particular until any consent that has been given is withdrawn. Data may be transferred, for the same purposes, to entities required by law or to third-party entities, in order to carry out activities required by the employment contract, the performance of contracts with clients and the legitimate interest of our commercial and business activity. Whenever data is shared with third parties outside the European Economic Area, the transfer will be handled in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation.
For any other purpose that requires sharing personal data, we obtain the consent of the relevant data subjects.
